To those who don’t like soppy displays of PDA, please look away now!
2 years. 2 whole years with Mr Neil Barber! How has he survived?! It has been a crazy, wonderful, incredible 2 years, filled with so much love and happiness. I feel so unbelievably lucky to have found the person I can call not only my boyfriend, but my best friend too. After going through so many toxic relationships, completely losing hope of ever being understood, or loved for who I am (besides family and close friends), suddenly, there he was. My Neil. My Neil with his impressive beard, his multicoloured eyes and his gorgeous smile. My very own love.
I love our conversations, our silly nicknames, your lovely cooking, us taking pictures together, our walks with the dogs, playing games together, watching films together, our days out and about, our times at home chilling out, us chasing Pokémon around the town and when we randomly drive past each other and begin frantically waving at one another. I love it all and so much more. In fact the things I love about you and about us are never ending, and certainly more vast than I could ever write down! But you have given me hope, a hope to love and be loved, a hope to be happy, and a reason to feel like I should still be here. And that means more than you could ever imagine.
So, to my Neil, (although I know you may not be reading this as you have already confessed to not reading my blog!) Neil, thank you for being you, and thank you for being mine. Thank you for all the happiness, the laughter, the silliness, thank you for your endless support, your complete understanding and your unimaginable, undeniable, unbeatable love.
Please never forget my Weenie, how much I love you, I treasure you, I believe in you and will support you through everything, for as long as you will have me.
Happy 2 years Mister. Here is to so many more.
Always and completely yours.
